Janice L. (Fidler) Knox

November 15, 1943 — January 25, 2022

Janice L. (Fidler) Knox age 78 and long-time Littleton resident passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John H. Knox, Jr. who died in 2017.

Janice L. Fidler was born in Dorchester, Ma on November 15, 1943 the daughter of the late Russell and Margaret (Kyle) Fidler. Raised and educated in Dorchester she graduated from Rose Hawthorne high school in Concord, Ma in 1961.

Janice and John married on September 28, 1963, at St. Anne's Church in Littleton. Janice was a devoted wife and mother and cherished all the family times together. She was always known to be caring, loving and generous with her time. A devoted parishioner of St. Anne's Church, she attended mass weekly and was involved in numerous church events and activities. As her children grew and became parents she loved and embraced her grandchildren.

In her early years Janice had a rewarding career as a teacher. Children and education were very important to her. She also worked as an administrative assistant for several years at Shorey-Huntington financial advisors.

She is survived by her children, Brian J. Knox and his wife Michelle of Attleboro, Edward P. Knox of Littleton, and Jennifer L. McCoy and her husband Tim of Myrtle Beach, SC. She is also survived by her grandchildren, T.J., Abbie and Jackson McCoy. She is also survived by her brothers Allan Fidler of Billerica, Don Fidler and his wife Debbie of Littleton, Bob Fidler and his wife Joan of Carlisle and Charlie Kyle and his wife Jean, of Sterling.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Janice for visiting hours on Monday, January 31, 2022, from 4:00-7:00 pm in the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St., Littleton. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 10:00 am at St Anne's church in Littleton. Burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery, Littleton.
