With deep love and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Janice N. Nash, born January 1, 1940, in Michigan, and passed March 16, 2025 in Massachusetts. . A spirited and charismatic woman, Janice was a beacon of joy, laughter, and warmth. Janice was married to her life partner, Arthur Heaton for 55 blessed years.

Janice is survived by her daughter Jennifer Nash, her husband Peter Church, Littleton, MA, son Andrew Nash, his wife Linda of Rockville, MD. Grandchildren Benjamin, Caleb, and Eleanor Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Charles and Helen Neschke, her husband, Arthur Nash, her brother, Charles Neschke, and her beloved family pet, Oliver.

Janice's zest for life was unparalleled. Her passions were as diverse as her personality – from playing tennis to reading books, from playing the piano to being the life of the party. She enjoyed boat trips to Long Island with her mother and father, and tandem bike rides with her late husband, Arthur. Janice was also an avid skier, and her love for water had her vacationing from the coast of Delaware to Squam Lake in NH.

Gardening was another favorite activity, her gardens were admired by many. She enjoyed traveling with Heaton and friends. Of all her pastimes, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, was what mattered most to Janice. She was a devoted mother, a loving caretaker, and a rock to her family, always ensuring her home was a haven of love, joy, and laughter. After the passing of Arthur, Janice's heart was mended by the companionship of the family puppy Oliver.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at Badger Funeral Homes Inc, 347 King Street, Littleton, Massachusetts, 01460. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 10:00 am at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 164 Newtown Road, Acton, Massachusetts, 01720. A reception will follow immediately after the service.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Janice’s name to the Reuben Hoar Library, 35 Shattuck St, Littleton, MA 01460.
