Jean Wilkins Schubert age 96 of Shirley, MA passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023, in Leominster. She was the wife of the late James Louis Schubert.
Jean was born in Lawrence, MA on March 21, 1927, a daughter to the late James Harry Wilkins and Ruth Chamberlin Wilkins. Raised and early educated in Carlisle, she graduated from Concord High School with the class of 1944.
She worked for many years as an assembler for Bemis Bag Manufacturing Company in Pepperell until her retirement. After her retirement, she enjoyed planning bus trips with the senior citizens in Shirley and working at the polls on voting days. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with friends.
Jean is survived by her children, Linda Olsen, Deborah White and her husband Ben, and Melissa Shaw, her grandchildren, Laura Lybarger, Christopher White, and Stephanie Mehl and her four great-grandchildren, Julia and Clara Lybarger and Ben and Macie Ellen White.
Services at Green Cemetery, Carlisle will be private.
