CHELMSFORD -- Jeanne Frances (O'Brien) Pindara, 75 of Chelmsford, formerly of Littleton died on February 4, 2014 at Life Care Center of Acton. She was born in Montague, MA on May 14, 1938 daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Devaney) O'Brien.
She grew up in Colrain, MA and was a graduate of Arms Academy of Shelburne Falls and attended Becker Jr. College. She worked as a secretary for Dorchester Savings for several years and was married in 1960. She and her Husband Leroy Pindara moved to the Midwest and she worked for the Department of Public Roads in Des Moines, Iowa. They moved to Michigan for several years before making their home in Littleton in 1972. Jeanne worked as a Secretary for Walter Bartkus Real Estate, Littleton School system in the Special Needs Department, and Raytheon before retiring in 1998. She had made her home in Chelmsford since her retirement. She loved her family, loved to study family ancestry and liked to read.
Mrs. Pindara is survived by her husband LeRoy Pindara of Chelmsford, her sons Michael J. and his wife Charlene Pindara of Chelmsford, Matthew J. and his wife Susan Pindara of Windham, NH, and Mitchell J. Pindara and his partner Sandra Sullivan of Littleton., 2 sisters Patricia Davis of Billerica, and Geraldine Fillion of Southbridge, a brother Martin Nichols of Boston and 3 grandchildren Samantha A. Pindara of Chelmsford, Zachary M. Pindara of Chelmsford and Madeline C. Pindara of Henderson, KY. She was also predeceased by her Foster Parents Ovila and Emma Pelletier and 2 brothers John Nichols and John O'Brien.
PINDARA -- Visiting hours will be held at Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St., Littleton on Tuesday Feb 11,2014 from 4-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will beld at St. Anne Church, 75 King Street, Littleton on Wednesday a 9 am. Burial at Westlawn Cemetery, Littleton.
