Jill M. LeBlanc (Raucher), 60 and a resident of Groton, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with ALS. She was the beloved wife of John LeBlanc.
Jill was born in Painesville, OH on August 4, 1960 a daughter to the late John and Janet (Longwell) Raucher. She attended middle school in Wellsboro, PA and graduated from a private high school in Virginia. Jill later attended Reed College in Portland, OR and eventually earned her undergraduate degree from Northeastern University and her graduate degree from Babson College. In her career, Jill went on from becoming a bookkeeper, to the CFO of the New England Research Institute. Jill was passionate about the outdoors and enjoyed hiking and walking. She was an avid reader and read voraciously. She enjoyed Boston sports, especially the Patriots and the Bruins and thoroughly enjoyed clocking up to 25 miles on the treadmill each week. Family, however, was Jill's greatest joy in life. She was loved beyond words will be missed beyond measure.
In addition to her husband, John, Jill is survived by her daughter Mary LeBlanc of Boxborough.
