Jim Henshaw

Jim Henshaw, 84,of Harvard, MA died peacefully in his sleep on September 24. He is survived by his wife, Pam Henshaw; two children and their spouses, Simon Henshaw and Jackie Greene and Sarah and Ken Johnson; and five grandchildren, Maddie, Sandy, Sam, Mick, and Jack.

Jim was born in London; he and Pam met when they were 11. They emigrated, with their children, to the U.S. in 1965, settling in Harvard, on Tahanto Trail, in 1967.

Jim worked as an aviation engineer. He worked on design teams for a number of British airplanes in the early 1960s and, once in the U.S., became an early pioneer in the use of composites in aviation. Jim and Pam loved to travel and to sail and, most of all, spending time with their grandchildren. Jim was devoted to his family, as they were to him.

There will be a private gathering for family and friends.
