Joan L. (Schwamb) Albertini, cherished wife, mother, and grandmother died on December 19, 2022. Joan spent most of her life caring for her family, but in the later years of her life she was lovingly cared for by her family and caregivers. Joan was born on November 4, 1937 in Boston, Massachusetts. She was raised in Arlington, Massachusetts, where she met her beloved husband, Frank.
In 1958 she married her high school sweetheart, Frank. They raised three children in Arlington, later moving to Bedford, Salem, NH, and finally to Ayer.
As a young woman Joan worked for New England Telephone. After raising her children, she worked at The Gift Center in Bedford, as a showroom manager. Becoming a grandmother was one of Joan’s greatest joys.
