John Caffrey, born to the world on May 7, 1959, in Elmhurst, IL, was a beacon of love, thoughtfulness, and support. His courage and selflessness, both in his personal and professional life, was an inspiration to those who had the privilege of knowing him. A native of Scituate, Massachusetts, John later made his home in Carlisle, where he was a beloved figure in the community and a pillar of strength to his family. John spent his later years living near his daughter and son-in-law in Littleton.
John, a retired Human Resources Vice President from Idemia, was characterized by his empathetic nature and thoughtful approach to those he served in his role. His love and dedication to his work were rivaled only by his passion for his hobbies. An avid lover of animals, traveling, food, and boating, he also played a mean round of golf and was a frequent face at the Littleton Senior Center. John found a particular joy in spending time at his camp in Bridgton, Maine, where he would often be found surrounded by the tranquility of Moose Pond and Shawnee Peak. However, what mattered most to John was his family. His love for his children was radiant and unwavering, and his affection for his grand-puppies, Riley and Tia, was immeasurable.
John is survived by his children, Kyla Caffrey Sheehan (and son-in-law Eric) and Quinn Caffrey, and his brothers, Frederick and James Caffrey. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Anne Caffrey. His memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those he loved and those who loved him. John's legacy of love, support, and courage will continue to shine through those he has left behind.
