John Kenneth Holmer, Jr, 59 of Littleton, died suddenly on Tuesday, June 11, 2019. He was a son of John (Sr.) and Barbara Jean (Kimball) Holmer.
John was born March 14, 1960 in Ayer, MA and resided in Littleton and surrounding area his entire life. He graduated from Littleton High School in 1978 and earned his bachelor's degree in business from the University of Maine at Presque Isle in 1983. At UMaine, he played ice hockey, wrestled, and was president of his fraternity. After college he began his career in real estate development, asset management and residential construction in the Littleton area. He enjoyed spending time with his friends in Maine and also at Lake Matawanakee in Littleton.
In addition to his parents John is survived by his daughter, Ashley M. Austermann and her husband Christopher of Littleton, MA, his brother James K. Holmer of Sabattus, ME, his sister Jean H. Lizotte, her husband, David and their children, Gregory and Erika of Littleton, MA as well as many extended family and close friends.
Friends and family will gather to honor and remember John for a graveside service on Friday, June 21st at 1:00 pm at Westlawn Cemetery in Littleton followed by a memorial gathering at his family's home nearby from 2 to 5pm.
