.  Joseph C. Azzolino, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished Papa, and well-known, respected member of the community, passed away at home on October 6, 2023, at the age of 70, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Joe was born on June 10, 1953, in Stoneham, Massachusetts, and he spent his life making an indelible impact on the hearts of those who knew him.

Joe leaves a legacy of love, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol Azzolino (Cummins) of Littleton, MA, his daughter Lisa Azzolino and her partner, Matthew Beach of Cumberland, RI, and his son, Michael Azzolino and wife, Victoria Azzolino, and their two children, Anthony and Juliana Azzolino of Groton, MA. In addition to his wife and children, Joe's memory lives on through his sister, Rose Jones, of Middleboro, MA, his brother, Frank Azzolino and wife Regina Azzolino, of Cape Neddick, Maine, and sister-in-law, Ginny Azzolino of Carver, MA. He was Predeceased by his brother Nicholas Azzolino of Carver, MA. He is also remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Joe's journey began in Somerville, Massachusetts, where he was raised by his mother, Gladys Marie Tedeschi. He graduated from Saint Mary's High School in Cambridge, MA, in 1971 and later obtained his bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University in 1984. Throughout his career, Joe worked at several tech companies, including GenRad, where he met Carol and excelled as an IT Professional. He later ventured into entrepreneurship, operating his own business and consulting firm, Gemini Professional Services, in Littleton, MA. Eventually, he found his calling in real estate, obtaining his license and becoming a respected Real Estate Broker in the community for the past 23 years, most recently with Berkshire Hathaway in Maynard, MA.

In 1983, Joe and Carol built their family home on Hartwell Avenue in Littleton, Massachusetts, where they raised their two children, Lisa and Michael. They celebrated 40 years of a deeply loving and devoted marriage. The very living room of their cherished home served as the backdrop to their wedding, a symbol of their enduring commitment to each other.

Joe's love for life was evident in his passion for golf, racquetball, drumming, and rock and roll music. He was an avid New England Sports fan, and you could always find him watching a game and coaching from the couch. But above all else, Joe's heart belonged to his family. His two grandchildren, Anthony and Juliana Azzolino, were the lights of his life, and he cherished every single second he spent with them. He was a loving husband to Carol and the best Dad and Papa anyone could ever ask for.
