Joyce Frances (Kappel) Woods

Joyce Frances (Kappel) Woods, age 79, of Groton passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020 at her home.

Joyce was born in Malden, MA on September 19, 1940 a daughter of the late Francis E. and Margaret (Brennan) Kappel. Raised and educated in Somerville, Joyce graduated from Somerville High School.

After spending many summers during her childhood in Groton, she married and resided in Groton where she raised her 3 children.

Joyce worked for many years as a manager for NEBS printing company in Groton, a career she enjoyed for over 30 years. She also enjoyed traveling, decorating, entertaining and caring for friends and family.

She is survived by her children, Herb and his wife Lori of North Chelmsford.
Joe and his wife Holly of Pepperell. Mike Fabbri and his wife Pam of California. Chris Fabbri and his wife Peggy of Ipswich. Predeceased by her son Frank,and sister Barbara Fabbri.
Six grandchildren,Steven, Herb, Kimberly, Tyler,Tim and Amanda. Five great-grandchildren,many nieces and nephews and many loving friends.
