Justin "J, Justine, Just" Michael Gibson passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 28th in Westford after a battle with addiction. Born on July 17th, 1991 in Fitchburg and raised in Pepperell, J graduated from Fitchburg Alternative High School in 2010. Whatever name you knew them by, if you knew them you loved them. J touched the souls of so many... So bright, so gifted, so FUNNY, so accepting of all- their personality was larger than life and they had an uncanny ability to reach people. A non-conformist to the core, J was passionate about friends, music, skateboarding, traveling, art and humans in general. Though this life was cut far too short, nobody could ever say that J didn't "live". The fearlessness and sense of adventure of this soul are unmatched.
J leaves behind an adoring mother, Tobi Rose and her partner Drew MacDougall of Pepperell; father, Rich Gibson and his partner Kathryn Gailis of Salem; sister Madison Rose of Pepperell and brother Drew Gibson of Littleton. They also leave their Grandparents Barbara and John Benson of Pepperell as well as Peggy Heatley and Fred Moniz of Hillsborough NH; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends who were treasured BEYOND MEASURE.
Due to the current social distancing restrictions, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers we ask that you simply be accepting and kind to yourself and each other, this would be the greatest gift to J.
If you are inclined to do so, donations may be made in J's memory to:
