August 10, 1936 — January 17, 2026

Littleton, Massachusetts

Kenneth Boyd Wiley, Jr., 89, passed away peacefully at the LifeCare Center of Nashoba Valley in Littleton, MA on January 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He lived a life defined by fierce patriotism, remarkable resilience, and unconditional love for those around him.

Kenneth was born on August 10, 1936, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, the son of the late Kenneth Wiley, Sr. and Rosalie Foutty, who passed away when he was very young. He was later raised by his stepmother, Dorothea Wiley, and became part of a large, blended family that shaped the man he would become.

At the age of 17, Kenneth proudly enlisted in the United States Army, serving four years—two of them in Korea during the Korean War. Upon returning stateside, he was stationed at Fort Devens in Ayer, Massachusetts. While awaiting his discharge, he began working at a local supermarket, where he met a beautiful redhead, Ann Marie Byrne. The two were married on September 5, 1959, at Saint Anne’s Parish in Littleton, Massachusetts, beginning a devoted partnership that would span more than six decades.

Kenneth and Ann Marie built a wonderful life together in Littleton, Massachusetts. Kenneth worked for Victory Supermarkets for many years before retiring in 1999. Together, they raised three children—Teresa, Thomas, and Timothy—and created a home filled with love, hard work, and laughter.

On February 11, 2009, Kenneth suffered a traumatic brain injury after slipping on ice. Doctors advised the family to prepare for the worst, but Kenneth, true to his nature, defied expectations time and again. His determination and stubborn resilience gifted his family nearly seventeen more years with him—years filled with precious memories. During that time, he witnessed his grandchildren grow up, marry, and start families of their own. He stood proudly beside his loved ones through countless anniversaries, graduations, achievements, weddings, and the births of seven great-grandchildren.

Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife, Ann Marie Wiley; his daughter Teresa Blanchard and son-in-law John Blanchard; his sons Thomas Wiley and daughter-in-law Pricilla Wiley, and Timothy Wiley and daughter-in-law Heidi Wiley; six grandchildren, Kristin Walshe, Brittney Effler, Kelsie Therriault, Alicia Blanchard, Paige Wiley, and Derek Wiley; and seven great-grandchildren, Hagen and Maxwell Effler; Benjamin and Kyle Therriault; Elle and Faye Walshe; and Dale Lloyd. He is also survived by his sister, Janet Reeves, half-sister Kathy Markulis, and half-brother, Edward Wiley.

The family would like to the thank the dedicated nurses and staff of the LifeCare Center of Nashoba Valley, both past and present for their devoted service, kind words, and quiet support they have given both Kenneth and his family over the years.

Kenneth will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his service to his country, and his extraordinary strength in the face of adversity. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched and the generations that follow him.
