Devoted and Loving Father, Brother and Son

LITTLETON ? Kevin P. Goddard, 53, a member of a well known Littleton family, died unexpectedly on Thursday, June 19th at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington following a brief illness.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts on February 25, 1961, the son of Ronald P. and Ann (Donohue) Goddard, Kevin attended Littleton Public Schools, graduating from Littleton High School in 1979. He went on to graduate with honors from the University of Massachusetts?Amherst in 1983 with a bachelors' degree in English and Journalism.

He was first employed by Beacon Communications as a reporter for several local weekly newspapers and as a technical writer at Digital Equipment Corporation and then for eight years as communications manager for State Senator Robert A. Durand. For the past sixteen years he was employed by the Littleton Electric Light & Water Departments as Public Relations Manager.

A loving and devoted father, Kevin lived his life for and gave his full attention and energy to raising his daughters who were his greatest pride and joy.

Kevin is survived by his beloved daughters Vanessa Tara and Isabella Grace; his parents Ronald P. and Ann D. Goddard of Littleton; three brothers, Timothy Goddard and his wife Kathleen of Littleton, Ronald J. Goddard of Lowell and Patrick Goddard and his wife Betsy of Lowell; and two sisters, Maura Goddard of Holden and Martha Johnson and her husband Eric of Littleton.

He is also survived by several dear nieces and nephews; Michael, Sarah and Joseph Goddard and Daniel and Matthew Johnson, all of Littleton.

He was also the brother of Michael J. Goddard, who passed away in May 1998.

In lieu of flowers his family requests that donations in Kevin's memory may be made to the Littleton Scholarship Trust, P.O. Box 693, Littleton, MA 01460.
