Lawrence (Larry) Chester Cregar age 81 of Harvard, MA died peacefully Saturday, January 25 at the Keystone Center in Leominster, MA.
Larry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sheila (Gabrielsen) Cregar; his daughter Katrina Kennett, his daughter Holly and her husband Kenneth Lee; his brother Royall Cregar and his wife Sandra; his grandchildren Nigel Kennett, Lauren Kennett and Travis Lee and many close friends.
Raised in Harvard, the son of Ernest and Helen Cregar, Larry attended the Bromfield Schools where he excelled in Sports and forged many friendships that lasted his lifetime,
Larry had a passion for sports, animals, his orchards and gardens. These passions lead to many adventures including trips to Hawaii, San Francisco, and Mexico, a lifelong quest to grow a great apple, and attendance at some of New England's greatest sporting events. It was obvious however his greatest joy came from the moments he spent with family. He was a special man with a generous heart who will truly be missed.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Larry on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St., Littleton. His memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am in the Congregational Church of Harvard, 5 Still River Road, Harvard. Burial at Bellevue Cemetery will be private.
