Lee H. Dearborn, Sr. peacefully left us on Monday, June 12, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was 72 years old. Lee was born on February 19, 1951, in Brockton, Massachusetts and raised in Lexington, Massachusetts by his late parents Frank and Emily (Osgood) Dearborn.
Lee was the loving husband of Anna (Pasciuto) Dearborn for 51 years and resided in Acton, Massachusetts where they raised their three children. Lee was a devoted father to his daughter Christina and son-in-law Jay Close, his son Scott, and his son Lee Jr. and daughter-in-law Jacqueline (J.J.). He found great joy in his role as a grandfather, lovingly known as "Gampy," to Juliana, Tyler, and Vincent. Lee was the beloved brother to his sister Anne Ward, his brother Mark and late brother Kenny as well as an uncle to many nieces and nephews.
As a general contractor for over 50 years, he was responsible for building numerous homes, but his true legacy lies in the strong relationships he built with anyone he encountered. Lee's larger than life personality left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His generous spirit and unwavering support made him the cornerstone of his entire family. He was always there to lend a helping hand, offering his assistance without ever expecting or wanting anything in return. His selflessness and reliability earned him the respect and admiration of all who knew him.
When Lee sought solace and relaxation, he found it at Ossipee Lake, New Hampshire. Since his infancy, he spent summers at the lake that he loved, where he enjoyed boating, spending quality time with family and friends, and sharing stories around the campfire. You would also find Lee picking up his tools and making repairs and improvements to the old camp. What brought Lee the greatest joy was seeing his children and grandchildren having fun on the lake, just like he did.
Words cannot adequately express the immense void left by Lee's passing. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who knew him.
We invite you to join us in honoring and remembering Lee during the visitation on Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Badger Funeral Home, located at 347 King St. in Littleton, Massachusetts. A service to celebrate Lee's life will follow the visitation at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. The burial will be private, reserved for immediate family members.
