Lena Napolitano

Lena Napolitano (Giardella), 88, of Bolton passed peacefully on June 20, 2014 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. She was a loving wife and widow to husband Albert Napolitano and loving mother of two children; Robert Napolitano and Linda Peters. She was a dedicated Christian, who touched the lives of all who knew her. She will forever be remembered for placing her family first.
Lena was born June 17, 1926 to Joseph Giardella and Divina Perrone; raised in East Boston, lived in Arlington, MA for many years and spent the last 16 years of her life in Bolton, MA. Lena and Albert spent countless hours volunteering at Grace Chapel in Lexington in their early years. Later, Lena became a member of Trinity Church in Bolton, volunteering in the women's Bible study ministry.
Lena is survived by her son, Robert Napolitano, her daughter Linda Peters and husband, Mark of Bolton, MA; her brother Charles Giardella and his wife, Lucy of Saugus, MA, her sister Mary Jane Tavilla and her husband Paul of Arlington, MA, two grandchildren Michael and Sabrina; beloved nieces and a nephew, and countless relatives and friends. She will be missed and remembered by all that she graced during her life time.
A Memorial service celebrating the life of Lena will be held on July 5th at 11AM at Trinity Church located at 14 Wattaquadock Road, Bolton, MA 01740. There will be a private burial before the Memorial Service, therefore family is requesting no flowers. In lieu of flowers please make donations in honor of Lena to Samaritans Purse, P.O.
