Leslie Ann Lorden Collins

Leslie Ann Lorden Collins, age 62, a resident of Neshanic Station, NJ and formerly of Pepperell, died April 15, 2010 at Peggy Coloney's House at Hope Village after a period of declining health.

She was born in Fitchburg, MA on Dec. 18, 1947, the daughter of the late Charles W. Lorden, Jr. and Thelma (Leach) Lorden. She was educated in the Pepperell School system. Mrs. Collins was a resident of NJ for the past 20 years and was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend.
She leaves two sons, Jay Collins and wife Nancy of Hollis, NH and Garrett Collins and wife Helen Marie of Exeter, NH; a brother, Charles W. Lorden, III and wife Donna of Pepperell, MA; three sisters, Sandra L. Mason and husband Basil of Hollis, NH, Paula J. Murphy of Cape Cod, MA and Robyn M. Tolstrup and husband Rick of Ipswich, MA; ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are private for the family. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Church, 28 Tarbell St., Pepperell, MA. Burial at the new St. Joseph Cemetery in Bedford, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Center for Hope, Hospice and Palliative Care, 1900 Raritan Rd., Scotch Plains, NJ 07076.
