Linda L. Lawrence, 79 beloved wife of the late David Lawrence, passed away after a lengthy illness, on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Sterling Village.

Born in Peabody, she is the daughter of the late Philip and Louise (Dluznieski) Falkingham. Linda lived in Peabody in her early years and worked at Logan airport then moved to Alexandria Virginia working in Washington DC. She was a graduate of Peabody High School and airline attendant school in Connecticut. Linda then moved to California for 3 years. She became a follower of Jesus after moving there for work. From then on, she lived to tell others of Jesus’ love. When she moved back to MA, she became a devoted member of Grace Chapel in Lexington, and when she moved to Leominster, after marrying her David, she became very involved with the ministries of Trinity Church Congregational in Bolton. She helped lead women’s Bible studies and was known for the way she made everyone feel special.

Linda loved her nieces and nephews and had many sleepovers spoiling them rotten. Her love for the ocean kept her vacationing on the coasts of Maine and New Hampshire for many years. There wasn't a bigger Patriots fan than Linda. She so loved all her Boston teams. She was a loving sister and Aunt.

She is survived by her two sisters. Patty Tampone of Boynton Beach, FL, and her husband John and Janis Harmer of Peabody; her nieces Rachael, Nicole, Cheryl and Sarah; her nephews Jeffrey, Scott, Matthew and Andrew and many great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Philip P. Falkingham Jr., David P Falkingham and John M Falkingham.

A funeral service will be held on January 26th at 10:30 am at Trinity Church, 14 Wattaquadock Hill Road, Bolton Ma 01740. The burial will follow at 1:00 pm, at Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, Massachusetts 01475.
