Linda (Lynne) L. Sidloski (Brooks, Barrie, Bottenhorn) - Littleton, MA.

Lynne Sidloski, 76 passed away Friday, January 26, 2024, aRivercourt Residences in Groton, MA, aftea long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Lynne was born November 12,1947 in Ballston Spa, NY. The daughter of the late Maynard and Helen Brooks, she grew up in Ballston Spa, and at the family’s home-away-from home oGreat Sacandaga Lake.

Following her post-secondary education at Mildred Ellie, Lynne married and moved to California, where she worked for the United States Navy. After a divorce and remarrying, she moved to Littleton, MA, which became her home for the next 40 years.

In Littleton she raised two sons, entirely on her own as a single mother. She worked for Digital Equipment Corporation for many years, and later for Ellora Software. She also was an early adopter of side gigs, selling both Tupperware and Jafra Cosmetics. Lynne married Robert Sidloski in 2002, with whom she enjoyed a wonderful marriage until his passing in 2018.

Lynne is survived by her beloved (and strikingly handsome) sons Eric Bottenhorn (and his wife Marne) of Erie, Colorado, and Greg Bottenhorn (and his wife Karen) of Littleton, MA, Grandchildren: Collin, Courtney, Andrew, Hope, Noah, and Connor, her brother Robert Brooks, and his family of Northville, NY, extended family and many great friends. Lynne is also pre-deceased by her parents Maynard and Helen.

Lynne loved Cape Cod, travel, cooking and baking, a good walk, basking in the sun, and spending time with her friends. She would laugh until she snorted, was small but mighty, could type at amazing speeds, had an amazing signing voice (and sang with a band in her younger years), was a master coupon-er (before that was a thing), and a word-game wizard. She loved fiercely and was a lot of fun to be around (usually). More than anything, she was an amazing mom and will be greatly missed.

A spring burial in Bourne, MA is planned, followed by a celebration of life in Falmouth, MA.

Arrangements under the care of the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St., Littleton, MA. 01460, (978)-486-3709
