Louise E. (Menza) Henderson, age 69, died peacefully on February 15, 2014 at her home.
She was born on August 31, 1944 in Revere, MA, a daughter of William and Louise (Norton) Menza. She grew up in Everett, MA attending Our Lady of Grace and Malden Catholic schools.
She graduated from Emmanuel College with a B.A. in Biology in 1967, and was a 10th grade biology teacher at Everett High School for two years. On August 17, 1968, she married the boy across the street, her husband John, in Everett, MA. They lived in Malden, MA for seven years while starting their family, and moved to Pepperell, MA in 1977. Together they raised their three children. They were married for 45 years.
She returned to the work force in 1995 as a Medical Records Coder for St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH for 10 years. She retired in 2006.
Louise leaves behind her husband, John Henderson, her children and their spouses James and Linda Henderson of Mont Vernon, NH, John and Nicole Henderson of Southampton, MA, Lisa (Henderson) and Tom Mungovan of Merrimack, NH, and five grandchildren: Jace, Cole, Austin, Dayton, and Millie. In addition, she also leaves behind five siblings, Sr. Mary Naiomi of Boston, MA, Bill and Alicia Menza of , Longboat Key, FL, Charles and Julita Menza of Plaistow, NH, Jim and Lee Menza of Pepperell, MA and Pam and John Veysey of Pepperell, MA. She was predeceased by her brother Nicholas Menza.
Relatives and friends may call at the MARCHAND FUNERAL HOME, 16 Pleasant Street, Pepperell, MA on Friday, February 21st from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 22nd at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Parish, worshipping at St. Joseph Church, 28 Tarbell Street, Pepperell, MA. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Pepperell, MA.
