Louise (MacDonald) Moncreaff, 76, of Ayer, passed away at her home surrounded by family on June 29, 2016. She was born in Boston MA On November 24, 1939 daughter of the late Herman and Marion (Young) MacDonald. She grew up in many areas in Massachusetts and was a graduate of Nursing School. She worked as a nurse most of her life and was a Nursing Supervisor at Tewksbury State Hospital.

She enjoyed antiques, gardening, bird watching, physical fitness, dance and spending time with her grandchildren. Louise supported a variety of charities and causes, and loves shopping with her daughter.

 Mrs. Moncreaff is survived by her husband, Donald Moncreaff of Ayer, her son Arthur Butt Jr.  of Northborough and her daughter Kristen Butt of Northborough, 2 grandchildren Andrew Lawrence and Ava Butt, and 8 Step Grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held at the Badger Funeral Home 347 King St. Littleton on Thursday July 7, 2016 from 12-2 pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers please contribute to “Judicial Watch”, Shriners Hospital or St. Jude’s.
