Louise Woods

Louise (Woodward) Woods, 81 of Groton died on February 3, 2014 at Apple Valley Center in Ayer. She was born in Dorchester on April 30, 1932 daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (Flanigan) Woodward and was the wife of the late Frederick Woods who died in 2002. She grew up in Dorchester and attended school there. She moved to Groton as a teenager and worked for over 30 years at Nashoba Hospital as a dietary aide. She loved bingo, Foxwoods and candlepin bowling
Louise is survived by her son Fred Woods, Jr and his wife Rita of Shirley, a daughter in law Kim Woods of Milford, NH 2 brothers Ben and his wife Jackie Woodward and Edward Woodward all of FL, 3 grandchildren Douglas and his wife Jennifer Woods of Fitchburg , Danielle and her husband Phil Celona of Gardner, and Meaghan Woods of Milford, NH, 3 Great Grandchildren Tyler Woods of Fitchburg and Cade and Cooper Celona of Gardner, and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her son John K, Woods of Milford, NH, and 3 brothers
Visiting Hours will be held Saturday Feb 8, 2014 from 9-11 with a Prayer service at 11 am at the Badger Funeral Home 45 School St. Groton. Burial at Groton Cemetery, Groton.
