Luke A. McSorley, beloved husband of Dorothy J. McSorley with whom he just celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary, passed away suddenly at home doing what he loved.
Luke was born in 1938 and raised in Arlington, MA, son of Roland and Georgian (Sorrento) McSorley graduating from Arlington High School. He honorably served in the United States Army and was a proud member of the American Legion and the Sons of Italy.
Luke managed his family businesses for many years before joining the Marriott Corporation until his retirement in 2020.
He is survived by his daughter, Kristin and her husband, Anthony Romano and son, Jeremy McSorley and wife, Darlene.
He will forever be missed by his grandchildren, Alexis and Matthew Romano, and Olivia McSorley along with his special extended family of nieces and nephews and their families.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Olive Hebb and sister, Virginia Weitz. He was pre-deceased by his brother Roland and brother-in-law Edward Hebb.
Luke believed life’s greatest blessing is making memories and he will forever be our greatest memory.
Family and friends will gather to remember Luke on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, in Littleton. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 26, 2023 at St. Anne Church, 75 King Street, Littleton, MA at 12:00PM. Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery, Littleton.
