Lynda (Reynolds) Fisher, 87, of Littleton, passed away on Tuesday March 21, 2023 at Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley. She is the wife of Lawrence Fisher to whom she was married to for almost 65 years. In addition to Larry, she is survived by her daughter Laurie Mongelli and grandson Michael Mongelli and predeceased by her son Scott Fisher, parents Charles and Gertrude (Ordway) Reynolds and brother Charles Reynolds Jr.
Lynda was born on September 12, 1935 in Medford MA, where she spent her childhood. After marrying Larry, she moved to Littleton MA in 1960. She worked for many years as a secretary for several smaller companies, in addition to sixteen years at Digital from 1975 to 1991. Lynda became very involved in scouting for her children, being Girl Scout Leader, Den Mother, and assisting Larry in his Cub Master duties. Lynda was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church, beginning with her arrival in Littleton. During her 63 years at FBC, she served as church secretary and deaconess. Lynda and Larry spent many years square dancing with the local square dance club, traveling to area dances. After discovering an interest in genealogy and all things Scottish, Lynda became editor of the Clan Sutherland of North America newsletter. Lynda had an avid love of gardening and created backyard beauty wherever she lived.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Lynda for her memorial service on Saturday April 29th at 1:00 pm. in the First Baptist Church of Littleton, 461 King Street, Littleton, MA.
Lynda’s favorite colors were brights and pastels. Honoring her love of color, those attending are invited to wear bright or pastel blue, pink or red. This is by no means a requirement, please wear what you prefer best.
