Mabel Halpin

Mabel (Reed) Halpin, 89, of Littleton, died on April 2, 2014 at Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley. She was born in Salem, MA on April 22, 1924 daughter or the late Carl and Bertha (Woodbury) Reed and was the wife of the late Bernard C. Halpin who died in 1986. Mabel has made her home in Littleton since 1926 and was a graduate of Littleton High School and Burdett College.

Mrs. Halpin worked as a Secretary for most of her life and was the senior secretary at Metropolitan State Hospital. A lifelong member of Littleton Congregational Church, she also was the church Secretary for over 20 years.

Her survivors include her children Richard and his wife Penny Halpin of Littleton and Phyllis and her husband Raymond P Shaw Jr. of Tewksbury, MA.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Littleton Congregational Church, King Street, Littleton on April 26, 2014 at 10 am.
