Margaret "Peg" M. (Gordon) McLaughlin

Margaret "Peg" (Gordon) McLaughlin, 80 and a longtime Littleton resident passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday March 1, 2020. She was the wife of the late Martin J. McLaughlin.

Peg was a kind and generous mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was always available to lend her time and smile when someone was in need; just ask any of her grandchildren, they felt her love through her interesting and thoughtful gifts. Peg was also an avid traveler. Her adventurous spirit took her all over the world with family and friends. Her inquisitive nature kept her involved in various activities throughout her life. Most notably gardening (personally and through the garden club), tennis, swimming, kayaking, and watching the birds from her favored sunroom. Her love of all animals, big and small, has been a constant theme her life. Her bright smile and beautiful spirit will be greatly missed.

Peg is survived by her children; Michael McLaughlin of Littleton, Ellen McLaughlin of Mystic, CT, Beth Grady and her husband Ray of Chicago, IL, and Andrew McLaughlin and his wife Beth of Mashpee. She was also the loving grandmother to Connor, Nicholas, and Alex McLaughlin, Isabella and Gus Natale, Tyler, Olivia, and Will Grady, Ella and Drew McLaughlin, and Ava and Emma Kelley. Peg is further survived by her sister, Bonnie Duffy and her brother, Michael Gordon and his wife Kay.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Peg for a period of visitation from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday March 6, 2020 in the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday March 7, 2020 at 10:00 am in St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Road, Billerica. Kindly meet at church. Burial will be held at 11:15 am on Monday March 9, 2020 in The Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave., Bourne.
