Marie Burke, 59, of Littleton died at her residence in Littleton after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born in Panama on November 27, 1954, the daughter of Dorothy (Penta) Burke and the late Major Philip T. Burke.
She grew up in Littleton, was a graduate of Littleton High School, and received an Associates' Degree from Middlesex Community College.
Marie will be remembered as a sweet and loving daughter, sister, aunt and great aunt. She will be greatly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to be touched by her love and kindness.
She is survived by her mother Dorothy Burke of Littleton; a brother Michael T. Burke of Lawrence; sisters Jeri Cande of Lancaster and Cynthia Burke of Richmond VA.; a niece and her family, Jennifer, Adam, and grand-nephew Domenic Pieroni; a nephew Benjamin Cande and his two sons, grandnephews Benjamin and Jameson Cande.
Visiting Hours will be held at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton on Friday, May 30, from 5-7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anne's Church, 75 King St. Littleton on Saturday, May 31, at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Westlawn Cemetery, Littleton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the America Cancer Society.
