Marie Doris Saart

Marie Avard Saart, of Littleton, passed away on February 5, 2025.

Marie Avard Saart was born January 17,1939, in Brookline, MA., the daughter of Armandine Plouffe Avard & Albert Napolean Avard. The youngest of 6 children she was predeceased by her siblings, John, Albert & Paul Avard, Annette Dunham & Teresa Casebeer.

She grew up in Brighton on 154 Bigelow Street and was a graduate of Brighton High School. She loved to sing and was in the Chorus as well as Sweet Adelines later in life. After she was first married, she bought a house in Littleton, MA ., and lived there for the rest of her life. Marie enjoyed her summer residency at Holderness New Hampshire at the Bethel Woods Campground for many years. She was a retired postal worker for the USPS. She enjoyed sewing and was an expert Quilter.

She was predeceased by her husband Roger Saart in 1993. She is survived by her son, Paul Dudley and his wife Jose, her 3 grandchildren Samantha, Steven, & Shelby, & two great-grandchildren Odin & Gigi.

She also leaves behind her beloved Nieces & Nephews, John, Ralph & David Avard, Trish Boen, Roberta Simpson, Barbara Avard, Linda Cirrone, Cheryl Casebeer, Jeanne Gourley, Janis Devine, Elizabeth Monson, and Sandra Jamula.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Marie for visiting hours on Sunday, February 9, 2025, from 1:00-4:00 pm at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton. Her funeral service will be on Monday, February 10 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
