Marion J. MacQuarrie of Forge Village, Westford, MA. Age 91 Loving Mother, friend and neighbor died on May 23, 2014 at the Apple Valley Center, Ayer surrounded by her loved ones after a long battle with Alzheimer's

Born in Ipswich, MA. August 4, 1922 daughter of the late Joseph. And Katherine Ciolek.
She was a graduate of Ipswich High School Class of 1940. She then attended Chandler Secretarial School.

Marion married Wallace MacQuarrie Sept. 22, 1946. They moved to Westford after Wallace got the Personnel Director's job at Abbot Worsted Co., 1947. Wallace died Oct. 26, 1981. She was a communicant at St. Catherine's of Alexandria Catholic Church and was an Avid reader.

Marion is survived by her son Robert W. MacQuarrie of Forge Village, a brother Frank Ciolek of Maryland, a brother-in-law Harry MacQuarrie of Virginia, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters: Stella, Alice and Gertrude, also brothers Theodore and Fabian.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St, Littleton, on Wednesday from 9-10 am followed by a prayer service at 10 am, Burial will be private at New Highland Cemetery, Ipswich, MA. 01938. In lieu of flowers. Those who wish make contributions in her memory to Alzheimer's Assoc. of Mass. /NH
