Marjorie Bontempo

Marjorie (Nicholson) Bontempo 90, of Littleton, died at Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley in Littleton on May 7, 2015. She was born in Littleton, Maine on January 26, 1925, daughter of the late Lloyd and Mabel (Hurlbert) Nicholson, and was the wife of the late Angelo Bontempo who died in 1990. She grew up in Roxbury, was married in 1946, and made her home in Belmont. She moved to Littleton, MA in 1950.

In addition to raising her family, Marjorie worked as a Nurse's Aide at Waltham Hospital Nursery and Delivery for many years. She also worked at home as a seamstress for a Boston-based company.

She is survived by her children Patricia and husband Christopher Sinnett of North Carolina, John Bontempo of Tennessee, Michael "Mickey" Bontempo of Shirley, a sister Clara Sheehan of Florida, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She was also the mother of the late James Harris of Littleton and sister of the late Leatrice Fichtner.

Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2014 at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street. Littleton, MA from 7-9 pm. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Please see www.badgerfuneral.com
