Mary Susan Blanchard

Mary Susan Egan Blanchard, age 95, of Concord, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025.

Mary was born on August 19, 1930, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She and her beloved husband of over 50 years, Paul Blanchard, who predeceased her, made their home in Concord, where they raised their family and built a life rooted in faith, love, and community.

A lifelong devout Catholic, Mary lived her faith through kindness, generosity, and service to others. She worked at Minute Man National Historical Park, a role she greatly enjoyed, and was deeply proud of her connection to the Concord community.

Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother whose family was the center of her life. She is survived by her children: Michael Blanchard of Littleton, Paula Blanchard of Littleton, and Suzanne Schmidt of Keene, New Hampshire, Jennifer Blanchard of Littleton; and by her cherished grandchildren Sydney Blanchard, Avery Blanchard, Paul Joseph Blanchard , Patrick Berry, Bryan Berry, Alex Schmidt, Cameron Schmidt, and Spencer Schmidt.

Mary was known for her generosity, her warm sense of humor, and her thoughtfulness—especially her tradition of always remembering birthdays with a card. She will also be fondly remembered for the many craft projects she lovingly created and gifted to friends and family over the years, and her devotion to her beloved Red Sox. ......

Mary’s kindness, creativity, and unwavering devotion to those she loved will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Mary for a period of visitation on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St., Littleton, MA. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Blessed Trinity Parish - St. Anne Church, 75 King St., Littleton MA.
