Mary C. Hickey

Mary Hickey (Hartman) of Littleton (Formerly of Acton and Maynard) passed away on August 20, 2024. Mary lived to be 99 years young.

Mary was a beloved mother of Margaret (Peggy) Larsen of Littleton and her husband Bruce. Mary was a grandmother to 4 children. Sharon Whitter and her husband Tom of Townsend, Scott Larsen and his wife, Pamela of Littleton and Sandra Sundberg and her husband Doug of New Ipswich, NH and Wayne Hickey of Gardner MA. Mary had 7 Great Grand Children. Kayla Wielki and her husband Craig, of Poland ME, Cheryl Fontaine and her husband Jeremy of New Ipswich, NH, Kevin Larsen of Littleton, MA, Michael Whittier of Arundel, ME, Kellie Larsen of Smithfield, RI, Jared Whittier of Everett, MA, and Heather Sundberg of New Ipswich, NH. Mary also had 4 Great, great grandchildren, Cole, Caden and Cooper Wielki of Poland, ME and baby boy Whittier to be born in November, 2024. She is also a mother-in-law to Sandra Hickey of Maynard.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Carmen and her son Edward. Mary worked for many years at a taxi service in Acton as a dispatcher. Mary enjoyed playing Bingo, and Uno with the kids. She loved watching old Westerns, flowers, caring for her plants and her animals. Mary loved to plan parties, and potluck dinners with her friends. Most of all she loved playing with all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Calling hours are Friday, August 23, 2024 from 10:00AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM at Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St., Littleton, MA. A private burial will take place at a later date.
