Michael J. Fitterman

Michael Jacob Fitterman of Harvard, MA, died of natural causes at age 48 on Saturday, July 5th, 2014. Michael was the beloved husband of Suzanne (Belleville) Fitterman and the devoted father of Rachel and Daniel. He is survived by his parents Carol and Robert Fitterman of Gainesville, FL, and his brother Brian and sister-in-law Michele of Westbrook, CT, and their four children Megan, Ryan, Jack, and Eric as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Michael was a loving husband and dedicated father who enjoyed spending time with his family. In addition to being an avid golfer since the age of 7, he was passionate about astronomy, classical music performances, and the New York Giants. He had a larger-than-life personality and will be greatly missed by those who knew him and loved him.
Born in Danbury, CT, Michael graduated from Shepaug Valley Regional High School in Washington CT and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University. Michael had a long and successful career in the high-tech industry, beginning with positions at Lotus and Digital. He spent years at numerous startup companies as well as Sun Microsystems and Constant Contact. Most recently he was employed as Vice President of Product Development for Epsilon Corporation in Wakefield, MA.
Services will be held on Thursday, July 10th at Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street in Littleton, MA. Calling hours will be from 1:00 to 4:00pm followed by a service at 4:00pm.
