Nancy M Cooprider, age 84, died of natural causes on March 12, 2023 in Acton, MA.

Her survivors include two of her loving sons: Jay (Karen) of Boxborough MA, and Curt (Karen) of Hopkinton MA; fourteen grandchildren who added immeasurably to her life: Allison, Anne (Tod), Christopher (Taylor), James Robert (Kirstin), Joseph (Ashley), Kristen (Eric), Laura (Rick), Lisa (Sergey), Mark (Alissa), Michelle (James), Nathan (Heather), Nicole (Hunter), Olya (Chad), and Renée; and eighteen special great-grandchildren: Ada, Addyson, Alekzander, Alice, Annalisa, Atlas, Ben, Charlie, Clara, Constance, Jaxon, Jubilee, Louise, Lucy, Misha, Paxton, Peter, Robert, Rose, Rue, Sam, Sasha, Turner, and Zoe. Also surviving is her sister-in-law Janet (Don) Matheson of Woodward, OK.

She was predeceased by her husband of fifty-one years, James D. (Jim), her mother and stepfather, Luise and Bill Thompson, and her son Clay (Marianna) of Edmond, OK.

Nancy was born in Shawnee OK, the daughter of the late H. C. and Luise McAninch. She attended public school in Cyril, OK.  She also attended college at Oklahoma City University and what was then Central State University in Edmond, OK.  She retired in 1996 from eighteen years as choirmaster-organist at Messiah Lutheran Church, concluding a long career as a church musician at several Oklahoma City churches.

Prior to her move to Massachusetts, Nancy found a wonderfully abundant spiritual life at St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral in Oklahoma City.  

Services will be private.
