Noreen B. (Sheehan) Gilpatrick, age 62, of Littleton, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. She was the beloved wife of Richard J. Gilpatrick.
Noreen Bernadette Sheehan was born in Arlington, Massachusetts, on July 27, 1963, the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Gildea) Sheehan. Raised and educated in Arlington, she graduated from Arlington High School and later attended the National Banking School.
In 1988, Noreen and Richard were married at St. Agnes Church in Arlington and later made their home in Littleton, where they built a life centered around family, friendship, and community. Noreen devoted many years to the banking industry and most recently served as a Vice President.
Known for her selflessness, Noreen always put others before herself. She loved cooking and found great joy in hosting family and friends, creating lasting memories around holidays, gatherings, and time spent together.
An avid sports fan, Noreen especially loved following the New England Patriots and proudly cheered through their many championship seasons. She also enjoyed watching March Madness, following the Kentucky Derby, and playing fantasy football. Outside of sports, she cherished time spent on boat rides at the lake and looked forward to vacations at Blue Mountain Beach, Florida.
Cherishing her memory are her husband, Richard J. Gilpatrick; her son, Richard J. Gilpatrick III; her sister, Peggy Sheehan; her brother, Eddy Sheehan; her cherished aunt and uncle, Ed and Jeanine Gilpatrick, with whom she shared a close and special bond; their children, Dana and Kate Gilpatrick; her brothers-in-law, Larry and Mark; her sister-in-law, Denise; and her nieces and nephews, Jason, Stephanie, Molly, Alex, Mark, Matt, and Jennise. She also leaves many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will miss her dearly.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Noreen during visiting hours on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton. A prayer service will follow at 4:00 PM. Burial will be private at Westlawn Cemetery.
Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for family and friends will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
