Pamela Parsons, age 86 passed away peacefully January 23, 2019 with her daughter at her side. Pamela was born July 3, 1932 in Los Angeles, California to Isabel and Charles Branney.
Pamela leaves her loving daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and David Green, her adored grandchildren, Rachel and Thomas Green, all of Littleton, MA, her dear cousins, Gena King of Tucson, AZ and Greg and Cheryl Kelly of Anaheim, CA.
Pam's mother, Isabel Branney was a hard-working single parent during the Depression. Motivated by her mother to take secretarial courses, Pam's secretarial jobs were one of her great enjoyments.
After graduating high school, Pam married Warren Parsons of Saugus, MA and they moved back east where his family resided. Pam worked until the birth of their daughter. She was an excellent seamstress and created many beautiful outfits. Crocheting was also a fun hobby and she made wonderful blankets for her grandchildren.
Pam's life journeys took her many places and she lived in L.A., Chicago, Gloucester, Lynnfield, Phoenix, AZ, Arcadia, CA, Santa Monica, CA, Lowell, Revere, Worcester and Ayer.
Las Vegas was one of her favorite vacation destinations, as she loved the "glitz" and knew all the best buffets. During the summers she would fly to Vegas for a few days and stay at the Golden Nugget.
Pam loved fashion and greatly enjoyed stopping at "Filene's Basement" after work in Boston. She and daughter, Valerie, shared the unique experience of the "Bridal Gown" event there.
Pam's grandchildren, Rachel and Thomas were a great source of pride and joy. She always encouraged their talents, and enjoyed many happy times with them at birthdays, holidays and get togethers. The most special times for her were being surrounded by her family at her beloved "Chinese Buffets".
Our family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to CareOne at Concord and CareDimensions Hospice.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Pam on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 4:00-5:00 pm in the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St., Littleton. Her funeral service will follow at 5:00 pm. Burial will be private.
