Patricia Margaret Byrne

Patricia M. Byrne, 62, of Littleton, Massachusetts, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, July 25, 2024.

Patty was born in Concord, Massachusetts on January 29, 1962, a daughter of the late Thomas and Pauline (Shanahan) Byrne. She was raised on Dell Dale Farm, a dairy in Littleton, MA. Growing up she enjoyed horses, 4-H, and a huge family of cousins, many of whom she was close to until her death. She graduated from Littleton High School in 1980.

Patty was a positive, energetic, and selfless person. She had a work ethic that was unrivaled. For many years she worked in the restaurant business. When the opportunity presented itself, she went to work for a construction company organizing construction sites. Because of her personality and organizational skills, she was asked by a busy, private family to work for them. In typical “Patty fashion,” they became integral parts of each other’s lives and cared deeply for each other. 

Great joy was found by Patty in many things, most of all her rock Jim, who was by her side for 20 years. She loved working in the yard, a clean house, dog sitting, and the New England Patriots. She also enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, entertaining, and her two dogs Remy and Diesel. Patty accepted everyone into her life and her home. She touched untold numbers of people with her bright light, always putting others needs above her own. 

Patty is survived by the love of her life, Jim Gammon of Littleton, MA, her sisters Kathy Pfeiffer (Bill) of Virginia Beach, VA, Judy Wustenberg (Mark) of Bay City, Or, brothers Bill Byrne (Debbie) of Phoenix, AZ and Tom (TJ) Byrne, (Jami) of Shirley, MA, sister in laws Pam Yahoudy (Eric) of Farmers Branch, TX, Jayanne Monger (Joe) of Brewster, MA, brother in law John Gammon (Kim) of Doylestown, PA. Nieces and nephews, Liz Pfeiffer, Rob Pfeiffer, John Pfeiffer, Ben Wustenberg, Liam Wustenberg, Jonathan Byrne, Nathan Byrne, Nicole Kelly, Lindsay Byrne, Adam Byrne, Aaron Byrne, Joshua Yahoudy, Julia Myers, James Yahoudy, Tim Sci, Tori Sci, Corinne Monger, Josh Monger, Abbie Scamuffo and Ashley Gammon. Patty also leaves behind many dear aunts, an uncle, cousins, and a host of friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Mary Elizabeth.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Patty on Monday, July 29, 2024, from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St., Littleton, MA. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at Blessed Trinity Parish- St. Anne's Church, 75 King St., Littleton, MA. The burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery, 7 New Estate Rd., Littleton, MA.
