Patricia E. (Ela) Campbell, age 87 and long time resident of Littleton, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 28, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
Patricia was born in Baldwin, Maine, the daughter of Walter and Betty Bickford Ela. She spent her early years in North Parsonsfield, Maine. Pat attended Cushing Academy in Ashburnham and graduated in 1948. Following graduation, she worked at Harvard University Business School, where she met her husband and the great love of her life, Louis Musgrave Campbell, who pre-deceased her in 2006. Pat and Lou made their home in Littleton, Massachusetts from 1955 until 1995 when they retired to Pat's childhood home in North Parsonsfield.
Pat worked serving lunches at Littleton High School for many years and spent a decade working as the supervisor of the records room for Acton Medical Associates.
Pat was a member of the '21 Club of Kezar Falls, Maine and the Women's Fellowship of the West Newfield Congregational Church, of which she was a member. Pat also served on the board of the Kezar Falls Circulating Library.
Pat leaves her sister, Marjorie Stanley of Harpswell, Maine, son, Alan, of Billerica, MA, and son David and his wife Theresa of Littleton MA. She had four grandchildren: Kim Lynch who predeceased her in 2017, Rob Campbell, Nathan Campbell of Chelmsford, MA and Beth Campbell of Littleton, MA, as well as two great-grandchildren, Seth and Ian Lynch. In addition, she leaves several nieces and nephews (each and every one of them her favorite), in Maine and San Antonio, TX.
