Patricia “Patty” Mary Hart age, 84 of Littleton, MA passed away peacefully on Monday, May 22, 2023, following a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease, with her loving family by her side. She left behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

 

Born and raised in Brockton, Massachusetts, on February 13, 1939, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Elinor (Toye) Hart.

 

Her unwavering dedication as a mother, tirelessly providing for her five children and two stepchildren, whom she loved unconditionally. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her own family, as she became the adoring grandmother to seven grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride to her life. Patricia’s love knew no bounds, and she showered her family and friends with endless support, guidance, and affection.

 

Professionally, Patricia excelled as a career administrative assistant, demonstrating her impeccable organizational skills, commitment to excellence, and her fast-typing abilities. She excelled in her field, averaging 120 words per minute on a Smith Corona typewriter. Her dedication and hard work were truly inspiring, and she was admired by colleagues and superiors alike.

 

Patricia was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many with her kind heart and beautiful voice. Her love for singing was evident in every note she carried.  Patricia had immense appreciation for music and was an avid fan of Neil Diamond. She also enjoyed following the New England Patriots and their quarterback Tom Brady.

Patricia also had a unique love for animals, particularly cats. Throughout her life, she lovingly cared for many feline companions, earning her the affectionate title of "Cat Lady."

 

She is survived by her children, Charles Roberts and his wife Heather of Fayetteville, AR; Colleen Nigzus and her husband Charles of Harvard, MA; Christian Roberts of Nashua, NH; Rachel Thibodeau and her husband Michal of West Haven, UT; and Stephen Hart and his wife Azora of Harvard, MA. She also leaves behind five grandsons and two granddaughters.

 

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Patricia for visiting hours on Saturday, May 27, 2023, from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon in the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton, MA. Her funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon.  Burial will be private.
