Patricia Sabourin Leger, 65, beloved wife and mother, passed into God’s hands on August 13, 2026. She was on vacation in her favorite place, York Beach, Maine, with family and close friends in the days and moments leading up to her passing and was surrounded by her loved ones. Pat was born in Clinton, MA on April 27, 1961. Her family moved to Littleton in 1967, where she would call home for the rest of her life.
Pat graduated from Littleton High School in 1979 and went on to get her degree in Fashion Merchandising from Framingham State University. Upon graduation she began a long and distinguished career in women’s clothing, beginning at Papagallo’s in Acton, before moving to Gould’s, also in Acton. Her engaging and warm manner had customers coming back to see her year after year, some of whom became lifelong friends. Most recently she has served as the manager of Irresistibles in Concord.
One of Pat’s greatest joys in life was cooking for friends and neighbors. Everyone was welcome at Pat’s table!
In her day-to-day life Pat enjoyed baking, gardening, shopping, Jazzercise classes, chatting with friends, family dinners and walks around Long Lake.
Some of her greatest adventures were spent with her loving husband, John. They took memorable trips to Paris in 2014 and Italy in 2025. Her favorite days were spent at York Beach with John and her two daughters Vanessa and Isabella, taking beach walks, looking for seashells and enjoying an ice cream.
Vanessa and Isabella were the greatest gifts of Pat’s life, and she loved them with all of her heart.
Pat was a one-of-a kind beautiful soul with a zest for life. She had a rare and genuine warmth, and she was compassionate to all. She was generous, selfless and thoughtful beyond measure. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Pat is survived by her adoring husband, John Leger, of Littleton, MA. Her daughters, Vanessa Goddard and fiancé Zachary Doran of Ayer, MA; Isabella (Goddard) Hudson and her husband Nicolas of Littleton, MA.
She also leaves behind her siblings, Bob Sabourin (Groton, MA); Ann Marie Siekman (Havard, MA); Anita FitzPatrick and her husband Paul (Fitchburg, MA) as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents, Francis Sabourin and Maria Silveri Sabourin.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Pat for visiting hours on Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 3:00-7:00 pm at Blessed Trinity Parish – St. Anne Church, 75 King Street, Littleton (enter church from rear parking lot). Her funeral mass will be celebrated in the church on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery, Littleton.
