Paul Stephen Bozicas

February 27, 1939 — November 2, 2011

Paul Stephen Bozicas, age 72, a lifelong resident of Pepperell, died Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Paul was born on February 27th, 1939 in Fitchburg, Ma, the son of the late Stephen and Lula (Socorelis) Bozicas, who were immigrants from Greece. He grew up in Pepperell with his sister, Kathryn and brother, Constantine and attended Pepperell High School class of 1958. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged. Paul married Jerrilyn Tule in 1967 at the age of 28.

Paul owned and operated The Pepperell Spa which was started by his parents, Steve and Lula in 1941. The Spa remained in business by the Bozicas Family for 70 years, from 1941-2011.


Paul truly enjoyed cooking for and serving his loyal customers and many wonderful friends over the years. He enjoyed playing cards and traveling. Above all, his greatest passion was spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Those who knew him best realized the pride and joy he found in being with his family.


Paul is survived by: his wife of 45 years, Jerrilyn (Tule) Bozicas of Pepperell, his son Mark and his wife Melissa of Pepperell, his daughter Alisa and her husband Chad Adams of Townsend and his daughter Paula and her husband Jason Hyde of Townsend. Paul had 7 grandchildren, Phoebe, Brenna and Erin Adams, Max Bozicas, and Emily, Julia and Michael Hyde. He is also survived by his sister Kathryn and her husband David Knipe of State College, PA, his brother Constantine and his wife Nancy Bozicas of Pepperell and 9 nieces and nephews.
Paul was predeceased by his son Christopher Paul Bozicas, who died at the age of 6 weeks old in 1973.

Visiting hours at the MARCHAND FUNERAL HOME, 16 Pleasant St., Pepperell on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church, 500 West Hollis St., Nashua, NH. Burial to follow at Pepperell Cemetery, Pepperell.
