Paul Roberts

Roberts, Paul V of Concord passed on Friday, April 4th at Health Alliance Hospital in Leominster. Born in Boston, Paul spent his early years in Abington, Ma where he played football and graduated from Abington High. He then graduated from Boston University in Mechanical Engineering and later obtained a Master's degree from Ohio State University. During World War Two, Paul served as a naval officer stationed in the Pacific. Paul worked at Raytheon Missile Systems for most of his working life as a consulting engineer with expertise in vibration effects.
He was predeceased by a brother, Richard, and sisters Ellen Ashline and Patricia Provost. He was also predeceased by his beloved wife Madalene (Varga) Roberts, and children Carol Donovan, Paul Jr., and James. Paul leaves a son-in-law, Daniel Donovan of Sterling, Ma, and a daughter-in law, Nancy Roberts of Clinton, Ma. He also leaves four grandchildren, Colleen Munkel, Daniel Donovan, Abigail Roberts, and James Roberts as well as one great grandchild, Brendan Donovan.
Relatives and friends are welcome on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 9 am-10:30 am. at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton, Ma. A funeral mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at Holy Family Parish Church, Monument Square in Concord, MA at 11 am. Burial will follow at Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, MA.
