Paul M. Ryan

Paul M. Ryan Sr. 65, of Shirley died at Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer on October 24, 2015. He was born in Winchester on August 30, 1950. Son of the late James and Carolyn (Smalley) Ryan. He grew up in Tewksbury and was a graduate of Tewksbury High School, Class of 1968. He served in the Navy "Seabees" during the Vietnam Era.
Paul then worked as a press operator for United Tool & Die for 26 years. He loved coaching his sons in baseball, loved to fish, was avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He was also was a Life Member of the DAV.
Paul is survived by his wife Linda (Lavoie) Ryan of Shirley, his sons Matthew and his fianc� Amy Fletcher of Ayer, Shawn Ryan of Leominster, Derreck Ryan and his husband, Michael Moore, Paul and his wife Lauren of Marlborough, 3 brothers Jack Ryan of Tewksbury, Kevin Ryan of Martha's Vineyard, and Brian Ryan of Wakefield. He is also survived by a granddaughter Kalie Ryan of Marlboro and 2 step grandchildren, Nicholas and Caila Fuller of Ayer.
Visiting Hours will be held at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St. Littleton on Saturday Oct 31, 2015 from 1-4 pm. Military Honors will be rendered at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers please feel free to make a donation to the DAV at http://www.dav.org/.
