Philip V. Kicelemos, 91, of Boxborough, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday April 22, 2023 at his home. Born February 14, 1932 in Akron, OH, he was the son of the late Angelo Kicelemos and Anna (Sovynova) Reiter.

Phil was a graduate of North High School in Akron, Class of 1950. He served 2 years in the Army where he was stationed in Germany. Upon his return, he attended Kent State University graduating with a Bachelors Degree.

In 1959, Phil married Mildred (Davis) who would become his life companion for the next 63 years.

Phil's focus on work started in his early years with a paper route at the age of 8 years old. His dedication and work ethic led to a successful professional career. He became a representative of Cuna Mutual National League that brought him to Massachusetts developing credit unions across the New England territory. Phil later worked with school systems throughout Massachusetts to provide educators with tax sheltered annuities to help build for their financial futures. He earned the name of "Mr. Tax Sheltered Annuity" across the schools. Branching out on his own, Phil formed Triangle New England providing education, financial planning, investments and tax preparation with his clients best interest always top of mind. While Phil enjoyed his work, his concentration was to ensure he always provided for his family.

When Phil wasn't working he loved watching football, tending to his garden and cultivating his apple orchard. He and Mildred enjoyed dancing and many travels including to their home in Florida.

Phil is survived by his wife Mildred Kicelemos and 5 children: Terrie Steel, Erin Hugick (Robert), Michelle Demers (Michael), Philip Kicelemos and Michael Kicelemos (Heather); 5 grandchildren and a great grandson born the day before Phil's passing; sister Helen Deibel (John), sister-in-laws Janas Steen, Joanne Parker and Shirley Anderson along with many nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by his sister Mary Schell (David).

Friends and family will gather to honor and remember Phil on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 10AM to 12PM at Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St. Littleton, MA. Burial will follow in South Cemetery in Boxborough, MA following the service.
