Phyllis J. Howarth, age 81, a longtime resident of Pepperell, died September 10, 2015 at Apple Valley Center in Ayer after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Edward Howarth with whom she shared 50 years of marriage.
She was born in Lowell, MA on December 9, 1933, the daughter of the late George and Josephine(Wojcukiewicz)Howarth. She was educated in the Lowell School System. She attended St. Joseph Church in Pepperell and was an active member of the Pepperell Senior Center. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Montrath in Groton for 25 years.
She leaves 2 sons, Mark Howarth and his wife, Andrea of New Boston, NH and Doug Howarth and his wife Heidi of Pepperell; a brother, Douglas Fleury of Florida; a sister Beverly Roberge of Lowell; 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the MARCHAND FUNERAL HOME, 16 Pleasant Street, Pepperell, MA. Burial in Pepperell Cemetery, Pepperell.
