Ralph E. Maxwell, 97 of Westford died at Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley in Littleton on March 21, 2015. He was born in Occum, CT on August 2, 1917 son of the late E Clayton and Lottie (McPheters) Maxwell. He grew up in Thorndike MA, and was a graduate of Ware High School. While in high school he started Ware Radio Service and then went to Naval Underwater Sound Labs during WWII in Connecticut. Later returned to Ware Radio Service and then started Electron Arc in Lynn, MA and later of Watertown. Ralph ran his own company called Remtron which was a specialty lamp distributor and power supply design company.
He was married in 1942 and made his home in Waterford Ct, Ware MA, Marblehead, Lincoln, and then Westford for the past 30 years.
Mr. Maxwell is survived by his wife Phyllis (Tolman), Maxwell of Westford, a son Clifford Maxwell of Groton, 2 daughters Deborah Stone of Leominster and Candace Verhulst of Pepperell. He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton from 10 am-11 am with a Funeral Service to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery, Littleton.
