Richard P. Chartier, 71, longtime resident of Dunstable died January 15, 2015 at Apple Valley Center in Ayer after a period of declining health.
He was born in Nashua, NH on September 10, 1943, the son of the late Louis and Dorothea Hatfield Chartier. He was educated in the Dunstable School System. Richard worked at the Lowell Shoe Co. and Lowell Car Wash. He loved race cars.
He leaves his former wife, Donna Gagne of Lowell; a daughter, Patricia Callahan and husband David of Dunstable; a son Michael Chartier and wife Brenda of Lowell; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
There are no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
