Richard Salvatore Fedele, age 88, of Littleton, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025, at Bridges in Westford. He was the loving husband of Marilyn Fedele for 64 years.
Dick was born in Somerville, Massachusetts, on August 19, 1936, a son of the late Salvatore and Nicolena (Accetta) Fedele.
Dick is a U. S. Army veteran, the Big Red One, and was stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas, and Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Upon discharge, he attended and graduated from Vesper George School of Art and married the love of his life, Marilyn. Dick worked for over 30 years at Hewlett-Packard Medical Electronics Division as a graphics designer.
Dick was a watercolor artist and painted incredible landscapes. In his younger years, Dick and his friends went skiing every week during the winter. He enjoyed working on cars and had several that he fixed up and traded for the next one. He loved to putter around the house, helping out at church, and volunteering to paint the town offices throughout Littleton.
Dick and his wife did a considerable amount of worldwide travelling, including China, Vietnam, Australia, and Africa. They managed to get to 6 of the 7 Continents.
Dick leaves behind his wife, Marilyn, two children Rick and his wife Jessica Fedele of Quechee, VT, and Suzanne and her husband Barton Fiske of Littleton, as well as four grandchildren, Sean Fiske of Columbus, Ohio, Nicole Fiske, of Malden, MA, Jackson Fedele of Los Angeles, and Alec Fedele of Quechee, Vermont. He is also survived by his sister Ann LaHait and brother Robert Fedele, both of Stoneham
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Dick for a period of visitation on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St., Littleton, Massachusetts. A memorial service will be on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 164 Newton Rd., Acton, Massachusetts.
