Richard Garnet Gamester

Richard Garnet Gamester II, age 81 and longtime resident of Westford passed away peacefully on Thursday April 5, 2018 at the High Pointe Hospice House. He was the husband of the late Marciana (Stayman) Gamester.

Born in Cambridge on April 12, 1936 he was the son of the late Chester and Norine (Smith) Gamester. Richard enlisted with the United States Marines and was honorably discharged in 1961. He married and soon settled in Westford. Richard worked for Raytheon Corporation for many years and owned and operated the Westford Riding Academy.

He is survived by his children Richard G. Gamester III of Westford, Lance D. Gamester and his wife Rita of Westford, and Wayne J. Gamester and his wife Kathleen of Groton. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Janis Gamester, Teresa Gamester, Lance D. Gamester II, Stacey Courser, Nicole Gamester, Michael Morales, Shania Morales, and Rachel Gamester. He also leaves behind his brother Joseph Gamester of York Maine.
